I love to bake! I just love it.
Unfortunately, I don't get to do it very often without my own kitchen. Ahhh...dorm life.
Anyhow, this weekend I am in Grand Forks hanging out with the boy. He has a two room apartment he shares with a roommate. The tiny galley kitchen doesn't have much counter space, but it has a sink with great water pressure AND it has a working oven and stove. I'm in heaven, I swear.
I got here this afternoon and got to spend a little time with the boy who I haven't seen in 2 whole weeks! Now though, I am sitting alone in the apartment as he has a show tonight and I'm not going until tomorrow.
To pass the time, I've been catching up on my British Novels reading and...you guessed it: baking.
I started with no-bake cookies, which is actually a contradiction because..they aren't baked, but I did manage to screw them up a little bit. They seem a bit soft.
Next I will be tackling some peanut butter cookies with chocolate kisses. It's gonna be an adventure.
